Lowriting set to bring some Chicano Soul to the Mission District August 9!

Lowriting photographer Art Meza, along with several Bay area artists including Yolanda Lopez, Adolfo Arias and Fern Balladeras, will be showing their work at the Mission Cultural Center For Latino Arts in the historic Mission District of San Francisco for a showed titled East Side Story: And Chicano Soul.

The opening reception is on August 9th and the exhibition will run through September 12th.

Also on hand will be  be Lowriting poets Tara Evonne Trudell and Nancy Aide Gonzales, for a Lowriting: Shots, Rides & Stories from the Chicano Soul book reading during the opening reception.

Don’t miss this show! The Bay’s own DJ Soulera will be spinning oldies during the event!
