*The above advertisement for my book was done by Josh Divine of Program2 Illustration and Design. Josh has a ton of talent and a great eye as an artist. His company specializes in graphics, illustration, web design as well as original fonts. He also has an awesome sense of humor and created one of my favorite comics strips, Ducktown.

Noun

On 12/29/2009, in Writing, by SJR

I recently did a couple of short write-ups for a new website by artist, Josh Divine called Noun. The concept is simple enough (and quite bad-ass) – the noun is broken down to its parts: a person, place, thing or an idea. You then contribute either questions or answers to each part. For example, I submitted an answer for a question in Things, in which I talk about something that scared me as a  child.

It’s easy to contribute and it’s fun. There are currently open exhibits ready for your contributions. I recommend visiting and sharing some of your own nouns as well as reading the ones there.  I am hoping to contribute more of my own nouns as the site progresses. I will update as I do.

Enjoy.
